Welcome to MIDCOMS 2023
Greetings from the Conference Organising Committee of 26th MIDCOMS & 12th PG convention
We are delighted to host this Conference in the holy land of Shirdi-Loni from 20th to 22nd July 2023, Shirdi is world famous pilgrim place of Indian state of Maharashtra with blessings of Shri SAI BABA. The city is well connected to all parts of India by air, rail and road transports.
We will have a different 360 degree scientific exchange of knowledge where emphasis will be given on honing the basic skills of post graduate students and young surgeons and also exposing them to all advance and recent development in subject of OMFS.The scientific program shall be designed in such a way to promote post graduate and young surgeons to showcase their work and simultaneously can exchange ideas with experienced colleagues. The stimulating sessions shall encompass a wide arena of guest lectures, research papers, panel discussion, poster presentations, debates, plannery session and handson courses. Pre conference courses will be have live surgical theatres, cadaveric hands on session and on model hands on training session. A bustling trade area will an asset to all.
The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for all to network and meet your colleagues from the fraternity. The trade fair will be integral part of conference and will provide the sponsors and traders an opportunity to showcase their various maxillofacial implants, instruments and equipments. It is going to be a mutually beneficial session for both traders as well as delegates.

Dear members and trainees of our esteemed association on behalf of the organizing committee, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery, faculty members of Rural Dental College & Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, PIMS(DU), I welcome all of you for the 26th Midterm conference of AOMSI to be held in Holy lands of Loni & Shirdi, Maharashtra on 20th – 22nd July 2023. Thank you very much for giving us this opportunity to hold this prestigious conference in our Institute which is one of the premier institutions in the country.
The conference is meant to update theoretical knowledge of our trainees, enhance the surgical skills of young delegates and a platform for senior members to pass on the word of wisdom for younger generations working in the challenging field of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery. The theme for this year is MAXFAXS 360° which very aptly describes the surgical spectrum of Maxillofacial surgery & topics which will be covered in scientific deliberations during the course of conference.
Along with extensive scientific sessions, experience the exemplary Gala Night to enliven yourself with sumptuous feast of different delicacies at the beats of music & and the Jhakkas “Nashik Dhol”.

On behalf of scientific committee of 26th Mid-Term conference and 12th PG convention of AOMSI – 2023, Shirdi – Loni, I welcome all of you to the divine land of Shirdi, Sai baba. As scientific chairman I am very excited to work with my wonderful team of distinguished academicians and clinicians in the field of Maxillofacial Surgery from all over the country.
As suggested by theme of our conference ‘Maxfax 360’ scientific committee is working on scientific schedule which cover each and every aspect of Maxillofacial Surgery.
In our scientific bonanza there will be a unique blend of preconference courses, prelinary sessions by young delegates, scientific debates and panel discussions keeping post graduate trainees in mind.
It will be a unique opportunity for postgraduates to come out in big number and present their scientific papers and posters. Committee is also planning to include mindstorming quiz, skill development sessions, Table clinics for postgraduates to make conference more attractive for PG’s.
All the preconference courses will be conducted at one place only that is, Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences. This University has wonderful environment and facility for the preconference courses including big Anatomy dissection halls, skill lab, 16 modular OTs with live relay facility to auditoriums and lecture halls, minor OTs etc.
So, me and my scientific committee welcome all of you to holy place of Shirdi. Come and enjoy the hospitality of MIDCOM 23 committee.
